Reviewing procedure
In order to promote the strict selection of author’s manuscripts for publishing and make specific recommendations for their improving, all the articles published in the scientific journal «Scientific Herald of Sivershchyna. Series: Education. Social and Behavioural Sciences»., are reviewed.
All the manuscripts should correspond to the journal character and should be written according to the rules of preparing the article for its publishing in the scientific journal.
Requirements for electronic versions of the articles submitted to the scientific journal
«Scientific Herald of Sivershchyna. Series: Education. Social and Behavioural Sciences».
Reviewing of the papers is completely anonymous both for the author and the reviewer. The procedure is carried out by two independent reviewers (“double-blind” peer review policy).
The reviewing process can involve the members of the Editorial Board and external experts determining the vector of the development of scientific thought and having papers in corresponding subject areas.
The reviewer evaluates the papers submitted to the editorial board of the scientific journal according to the criteria contained in the form of the reviewer’s questionnaire.
The resolution part of the reviewer’s questionnaire should contain a conclusion on the issue whether the article is suitable for publishing or some recommendations concerning improving of the article.
The reviewer’s questionnaire is made in printed form, must be signed by the reviewer and certified with the seal of the institution at the reviewer’s place of work.
In case of rejection, the Editorial Board sends the author a motivated refusal.
The existence of a positive review is not a sufficient reason for publishing the article. The final decision on the expediency of publishing is taken by the Editorial Board of the scientific journal, taking into account the individual opinions of its members.
