MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTOR OF COMPETITIVENESS OF ORGANIZATION

Summary:

The article is devoted to determining psychological factors of competitiveness of an organization, related to management activities. The author considers management activity as a psychological factor, which provides the internal competitive advantage of organization. The management subsystem appears in the study as a set of factors related to the processes of strategic planning for functioning and development of organization. It includes the psychological components of the processes of external and internal information analysis, setting goals for the development of the organization, setting tasks, making decisions, building the structure of the organization, motivation and stimulation of work, development and implementation of innovations, psychological features of the personality of the manager and psychological characteristics of staff. According to the author, a psychological factor that provides a unified focus of efforts of all members of the organization to achieve its overall goal and improve the quality of solving the problems is interconnected goals of different levels: organization, leaders, employees. Individual performance and satisfaction with their work, as well as motivation that determines employee involvement in the activity, at the individual level of organizational behavior, depend on the specifics of the tasks and delegated authority. The effectiveness of the organization as a whole and the leader in particular is determined by the following psychological factors: motivation of managerial activity of the leader, his professional and social competence, personal professionally important qualities, leadership ability, flexibility of management style. Among the necessary qualities of personnel in the first place are the ability to manage their behavior, social competence, initiative, skills, sociability, perception of the corporate spirit, the ability to work in a team. The results of the study can be used by the leaders of the organization, personnel managers and organizational psychologists in the creation of programs of psychological support for organizational activities, the creation of scientific and practical developments on the actualization of internal factors of competitiveness of the organization.
