THE PENITENTIARY SYSTEM SPECIALISTS’ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS IMPROVEMENT IN THE PROCESS OF PHYSICAL TRAINING

The article covers the main content and tasks of physical training of soldiers and commanding staff of the State Criminal Execution Service in our country.
Modern activity of a penitentiary system employee while fulfilling his official duties imposes high demands for a cadet, in particular, for his martial arts, physical and psychological readiness. Each cadet and officer must perfectly master modern self-defense technology and weapons, act skillfully with maximum efficiency under all circumstances that requires a proper level of physical and psychological hardness.
Physical training of the persons of ordinary and chief staff of the State Criminal and Executive Service (SCES) in our country is an important part of professional training, it is also an integral part of training and education of the personnel.
The authors’ research was aimed at a range of questions regarding the using of special techniques related to the use of physical developmental games for the improvement of professional abilities and functional capabilities of the penitentiary specialists’ organism.The following conclusions are the results of the research: the effectiveness of professional qualities is provided by optimal selection of means and methods of training, applied exercises that allow subsequently acquire the specific skills needed during the professional career; the creation of complex special games sets in various combinations was proposed by authors, which is helpful for the skills development for speed and strength, dexterity, skillful use of techniques and actions related to movements coordination, endurance, improving the functionality of cadets and officers of the penitentiary system. Variants of combining exercises and actions are determined by a teacher, in accordance with the periods and tasks of training and the level of the penitentiary system modern specialists’ physical preparedness.
