PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENTMEDICINE IN RURAL AREAS
(ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE CHERNIGIV REGION)

The article identifies the main problems of the current state of medicine in rural areas. It is determined that in the system of officially free medicine, which is designed for mass consumption, it is impossible to provide high quality medical services; lack of qualified medical staff; problems of access to health care services, especially in rural areas; lack of financial resources for the development of medicine; rural outpatient clinics do not have even the most necessary conditions and equipment; in some villages there is only one doctor, and therefore there is no one to choose a specialist, in others, on the contrary – doctors cannot get enough signed declarations, because there are no people; access to medicine in rural and urban areas is different, which affects not only the quality of patient care, but also the salaries of doctors. And so no doctor is able to provide quality treatment in the current environment. And so no doctor is able to provide quality treatment in the current environment. It is investigated that today a number of legislative acts and normative documents have been adopted, which bring the healthcare system of Ukraine closer to the world standard, make it more social and at the same time put it on the market rails. The article considers the main directions of health care reform, in particular the prospects for the development of medicine in rural areas. The main goal is to ensure high-quality medical examination in rural areas, timely detection of diseases, especially genetic ones in the early stages, systematic supervision of certain groups of patients, and preventive and health-improving measures.
