Summary

Recently, a lot of attention in society has been paid to the problem of bullying. Before we talk about counteracting this phenomenon, we need to understand what it is, the causes of bullying, and the difference between bullying among children, adolescents, and adults.

The problem of bullying has always existed and will always exist, because there have always been people in the world who seek to raise their status either in their environment, take higher positions in the relevant society, or simply take revenge for something by showing the victim his or her place, and thus showing other members of the group what can happen to them in case of disobedience.

The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence of the concept of “bullying” and the means of counteracting violence.

The research methodology is based on the analysis of the theoretical structure of the concept of “bullying” and practical knowledge in the field of self-defense.

Research results and conclusions. The author of the article reveals the psychological and physical aspects of countering bullying by means of moral, volitional and physical qualities and notes the need for continuous improvement of mental and physical health.
